Relatively new to the site and not impressed so far at all. The query that I contacted the customer support team with about two weeks ago via the WhatsApp chat has been ignored, and I am unable to get through via the helpline number. (I am currently at queue position 8, and have been for over half an hour)!

After 15 mins playing with it I decided it was not for me sadly. Brainless, thoughtless and unresponsive customer service. Creates obstacles where there shouldn’t be. I generally like the breadth of security instruments the platform offers. But their customer service is absolute garbage.

Phoned IG.com they were super helpful and managed to get my request actioned. They also kept me updated with progress and were friendly. All round good service, both email follow up and agent via a call were friendly and helpful took the time to go over the details while waiting on call.

I’ve been with IG for a long time and have tried other platforms in the past. There are reasons I stay with them. I cannot recommend IG highly enough as the premium supplier of international dealing services in the UK. Their customer service is also excellent.

Installed the IG Invest app for android and opened a stocks and shares ISA. Was able to add funds and invest in ETFs and investment trusts. Note that mutual funds are not available. Was initially unable to invest in US stocks as the integrated W8BEN registration process was not working in the app. No response to attempts to contact customer support via Whatsapp or email.

I’m really shocked about this misleading and cheating their customer and let the hotels abuse them by changing rates. I I will never stay with this group again. It’s all it’s a shame after 16 years. I recently found out IG has a new app

The WhatsApp help desk service is amazing. I have Vishal who provided me with very professional service and was able to solve my query in a timely manner. I am pleased with the replies from the customer service. The agent was able to explain the custody fees successfully. ‘IG has a simple structure and caters for experienced investors, and those with less experience who want a bit of help in managing their portfolios.

I submitted the IG Stocks and Shares ISA transfer form by email also saying I wanted to transfer in an ISA and immediately received a “sorry we’re busy have patience” stock email. The email bizarrely also asked me to confirm whether I wanted to transfer an ISA or Share Dealing account? The platform has basic indicators and did require me having a second stp platform however since “Pro realtime” was added, the platform is damn good. ig group review So, if tax free profits are your goal.. Do not trust this company at all cost. Thankfully “ 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐥 𝐚𝐢𝐦” was able to retrieve my £47,000 without any problems and delay. Customer service and turnaround time is prompt and is able to address my concerns about account opening. Nice platform and good support but very expensive.

The ‘chatbot’ route seems to actually connect to a real person but only after 1-2 hours waiting. This led to the problem being solved. I have heard noting from them, been waiting 45 minutes for a support chat. The risks of loss from investing in CFDs can be substantial and the value of your investments may fluctuate. 71% of retail client accounts lose money when trading CFDs, with this investment provider.

You pray you don’t need to get in contact with them (which is very seldom) as it is real pain to do small things being requested. IG continue to provide the best support and best platform. The links to ProReal and other services are great.

Uploaded the app because I am looking for a new trading platform since im not happy with etoro and found the IG app dissapointing and not user friendly to navigate and fewer tools for newbies.
