Concrete Pier System
- Wet-set bracket system installed before concrete pour for maximum strength.
- Bolt-down brackets used when required for continuous foundations or post additions.
- Pier sizes increase with building size and height for structural integrity.
- Minimum pier size: 12” x 36” (12’ x 24’ building) up to 36” x 48” on clear-span bearing walls.
- No lumber-to-dirt contact — protecting your investment long-term.
Heavy Duty Walls
- Laminated columns with upgrade options from 2x6 up to 2x10.
- No splices on posts 20’ or shorter.
- Generous adhesive application and consistent nail patterns.
- Continuous-span gable posts and 2x6 wall girts spaced 2’ on center.
- 2x10 grade boards for maximum ground clearance.
- Wall bracing addressed during planning — not after problems arise.
Premium Roof Design
- 2x6 lumber placed on edge between 10’ on-center engineered trusses.
- Nested in Simpson Strong-Tie saddle hangers for superior uplift resistance.
- Eliminates pivot point loads that can cause roof failure.
- Bottom chord bracing on edge in joist hangers with 12” wind strapping.
- Trusses pocketed into columns and through-bolted for maximum strength.
Ufer Grounds
- Included standard on all BOSS Sheds structures.
- Saves time and money when wiring your structure for electricity.
